Gods like Yato utilize this space to fulfill contracts, crossing through the boundary as a natural part of their work. However, the boundary is treacherous; straying too far into the void or attempting to cross without permission can result in a soul being lost forever or consumed by the chaos that lurks just beyond the veil.
